Press F12 in-game to open the bot configuration menu. This menu allows you to adjust bot difficulty, weapon restrictions, and spawn counts. Key Limitations battlefield 3 offline bots mod
- Launch a local server on your own machine.
- Populate any multiplayer map (Conquest, Rush, Team Deathmatch, etc.) with up to 64 bots (or more, if your CPU can handle it).
- Adjust bot difficulty (from brainless recruits to aim-bot nightmare veterans).
- Play without an internet connection (after initial setup).
- Use modded weapons, vehicles, and game logic via the VU extension system.
Limitations (as of latest VU build):
- No Jet Dogfighting – Bots struggle with jet physics; they often fly in circles.
- No Commander Mode – AI cannot act as commander.
- Map Pathfinding – Some custom or DLC maps may have navmesh issues (bots getting stuck).
- No Singleplayer/Co-op Maps – Only multiplayer maps work with bots.
