4. Daily Usage Instructions
Turning on & setting temperature:
- Turn the flow control counterclockwise (pull if needed) to start water.
- Adjust temperature control until water feels comfortable (clockwise = hotter).
- If water is too cool at 38°C, press the safety button and rotate further (max 48°C).
- Turn off the main water supply.
- Open the shower valve to drain all residual water from the pipes.
- Remove the internal cartridge or blow compressed air through the lines to ensure no water remains, as freezing water can crack the brass body.
: Many Caraflo kits come with a water-saving trigger head. Press the trigger to release water; some models allow you to flick a small switch to keep the flow constant without holding the trigger. Shutting Off Turn the flow control counterclockwise (pull if needed)
Note: This should be done only if boiler hot water output is above 55°C.
