Step 4: Verify the Update

  1. After the router restarts, log back into 192.168.0.1.
  2. Navigate to Status → Device Info.
  3. Check the Firmware Version field to confirm it matches the new version you installed.
  4. If your settings were lost, go to System → Restore Backup to upload the configuration file you saved earlier.
