Title: "Exploring Moldova like it's Vice City" Review: GTA Vice City – The Moldova Chronicles
- Vehicles: The handling has been downgraded intentionally. Driving a 1980s Moldovan bus feels like steering a tank on ice. The "Vigilante" side mission is no longer about catching criminals; it’s about pulling over unroadworthy vehicles, which is basically 90% of the cars on the road.
- Radio: The soundtrack is the highlight. Gone are Flock of Seagulls and Michael Jackson. In their place is a custom station blasting O-Zone, Zdob și Zdub, and heavy Moldovan folk music. The talk radio station, "Radio Chișinău," features callers complaining about heating tariffs and the price of wine. It is laugh-out-loud funny.
- Graphical glitches and texture tearing.
- Some missions are nearly impossible due to vehicle handling.
- Depressing color palette might not be for everyone.

Title: "Moldova Vice: A GTA: Vice City Inspired Story"
- GTA Vice City: Chișinău Stories (2008): A total conversion that changes the map to a crude rendering of the Moldovan capital. It has a cult following for its "Dacia" car physics.
- GTA Vice City: Moldova Mod v3.0 (2012): Famous for replacing the game’s weather system. Instead of sunny and rain, it added "Fog" (smog from diesel busses) and "Mud Season" (permanent wet roads).
- GTA: The Moldovan Job (2016): A smaller mod focused on adding real-life Moldovan politicians as NPCs, leading to hilarious shootouts inside the Parliament building.
Digital Folklore: The mod is a prime example of "Balkan-core" or "Post-Soviet" modding.
