Step 8: Remove Fan and Heat Sink
- Remove the 3 screws (numbered 1, 2, 3) securing the fan to the heat sink.
- Remove the 4 spring-loaded screws securing the heat sink to the CPU (loosen in reverse order: 4→3→2→1).
- Lift the heat sink and fan assembly. Clean old thermal paste and apply new before reassembly.
