Physical Adjustments

Lighting: The sensor in an X5 is tiny. You need a key light pointing at your face, not a window behind you.

Focus Ring: Some X5 models have a manual focus ring around the lens. Rotate it while looking at your preview until the text on a book behind you is sharp.

Tripod Mount: The standard clip is flimsy. The X5 has a standard ¼”-20 threaded hole on the bottom. Use a small tabletop tripod for stable angles.
