The Plot
Picking up shortly after the events of the first film, Ip Man and his family arrive in Hong Kong in 1949. Ip Man attempts to open a Wing Chun school to teach his martial arts, but he faces opposition from the local martial arts masters led by Hung Chun-nam (played by the legendary Sammo Hung). To stay in business, Ip Man must navigate the complex politics of the Hong Kong martial arts world. The stakes are raised when a corrupt and arrogant British boxing champion, Taylor "The Twister" Milos, arrives and insults the Chinese martial arts, forcing Ip Man to fight for the dignity of his people once again.
