4. Core Gameplay Loop

The game alternates between two main phases: Katana Kami- A Way of the Samurai Story

Different blade shapes affect reach and swing speed.

Guards affect parry timing.

Hilts determine the number of special technique slots.

Repair Swords: Every time you swing a sword, its durability drops. If it hits zero, the sword breaks permanently. You can repair them at the forge for gold.

Forge New Swords: Combine base materials (ore, wood, cloth) with "Memories" (drop items from enemies) to create new blades.

Enhance Swords: Fuse two swords together. The base sword retains its stance and special move, but inherits the stats and sometimes the perks of the sacrificed sword.
