Step-by-Step for ISIS Schematic:

# Pseudo-code for creating component (follow in Proteus)
1. Open Proteus ISIS
2. Library → Pick Device/Symbol → New Component
3. Fill details:
   - Name: LM2596
   - Reference Prefix: U
   - Description: 3A Step-Down Voltage Regulator

: Restart the software to refresh the component list. Search for "LM2596" in the Pick Devices (P) window. 4. Circuit Simulation and SPICE Modeling


The Short Answer


There is no official LM2596 library from Labcenter Electronics (Proteus creator). You must download a third-party library or create the part yourself.


What to look for: Once extracted, you should see two main file types: .LIB (Library data) .IDX (Index data)
