As of April 2026, .NET Framework 4.9 does not exist . Microsoft announced that .NET Framework 4.8

  • Quiet Install: /quiet /norestart
  • Passive: /passive
  • Extract Only: /x:\[path\]

What is .NET Framework 4.9?

The .NET Framework is a development platform for building apps for Windows, Windows Server, and Microsoft Azure. Version 4.9 represents the latest iterative update to the 4.x series, bringing critical enhancements to the table: net+framework+49+offline+installer+for+windows+exclusive

Why the Confusion?
