Introduction

• It is not a Hoenn game. You are still playing through the story of Black 2 & White 2 in Unova.
• The Pokédex is massively overhauled. Over 90% of the Pokémon available before the post-game are from Gen III (Hoenn) or related evolutions/pre-evolutions introduced in later gens (e.g., Gallade, Roserade, Probopass).
• Type and stat changes. Many Hoenn Pokémon have been buffed or given secondary types to make them more viable (e.g., Sceptile becomes Grass/Dragon upon Mega Evolution-style changes, Luvdisc evolves into Alomomola).
• Difficulty spike. Gym Leaders, rival battles, and the Elite Four use full teams of 6, competitive movesets, and held items.
