Upgrading from the legacy custom firmware (CFW) to the modern
- Download the PRO-C Update (look for
PRO-C_660 release). Extract the zip.
- Inside, find the
/PSP/ folder. Copy the PROUPDATE and CIPL_Flasher folders into PSP/GAME/ on your memory stick.
- Disconnect USB. Go to Game -> Memory Stick.
- Run "PRO-C Updater" .
- Press X to install CFW. Wait 5 seconds. Press X to exit.
Step 2: Updating the Official Firmware (The "Official" Way)
To run modern CFW, we need a modern Sony kernel. We will update to OFW 6.60 first. psp 352 m33 upgrade to 660 portable
What you’ll need
- A PSP with existing CFW (3.52 M33 in this case) or at least a way to run homebrew.
- A FAT32-formatted Memory Stick PRO Duo (or appropriate storage for your model).
- USB cable or card reader.
- A computer to download files and copy them to the Memory Stick.
- The target 6.60-based CFW installer (commonly 6.60 PRO-C, 6.60 LME, or 6.60 Rebug-style builds) and their Recovery Menu if separate.
- Plugins you want to keep (save copies) and Recovery/flash backup utility.
