1. Why TCP Relay Mode Fails

  • Strict NAT / Firewall – UDP ports (required for P2P) are blocked.
  • ISP restrictions – Carrier-grade NAT (CGNAT) prevents direct tunnels.
  • VPN interference – Another VPN is active.
  • IPv6 mismatch – One user has IPv6, another only IPv4.
