It now benefits from abilities that specifically increase Pillage Yields. Quick Resume: Closing the game via the Switch
- Quick Resume: Closing the game via the Switch home menu now saves a "suspended memory state." When you relaunch, you resume directly at the start of your turn, skipping the 90-second loading screen.
- Gyro Cursor: You can now tilt the Joy-Con to move a mouse-style cursor. This is surprisingly useful for selecting tiny units on the map.
- Smart End Turn: A new toggle automatically ends your turn when you have no remaining unit moves or production choices. This shaves minutes off late-game sessions.
- Portability: Play a full match on a flight.
- Touchscreen controls: The 1.0.2 update optimized the UI for finger taps, making unit cycling much easier than using the analog sticks.
- Sleep mode: Unlike PC, you can put the Switch to sleep mid-turn and resume instantly without a reload.
⚠️ Notes:
- Ryujinx / Yuzu (early build) – Works with Vulkan; turn off async shaders to avoid UI flicker.
- Cross-save with PC is blocked on this version unless you manually copy save files.
- DLC not yet included (will be posted separately).
