Suikoden 2 Tier List Here
Here’s a review of the concept and common execution of a Suikoden 2 tier list, written as if evaluating a typical fan-made guide.
If you import data from the first game, he is arguably the strongest character in the game due to his Soul Eater rune and high stats. A Tier: Highly Effective
A great "Red Mage" style character (good at physical and magic), though he excels at neither. suikoden 2 tier list
- Riou (The Hero): He is the protagonist, so he is in your party 99% of the time. Fortunately, he is also a monster. His Bright Shield Rune offers unparalleled utility: it heals the party, cures status ailments, and deals heavy damage. He also has three open rune slots, high speed, and access to the "Kindness Rune" bug (if you’re cheeky), making him indispensable.
- Luc: The canon wind mage. While magic users fall off in many RPGs, Luc accelerates. He joins early, has a permanent Wind Rune (saving you a valuable orb), and high magic stats. His ability to wipe out enemy groups with "Shredding" or "The Shredding" makes random encounters trivial.
- Sheena: The prince of Lakewest is arguably the best pure fighter in the game. He joins relatively early, has three rune slots (a rarity), and high stats across the board. He can equip heavy armor and hit like a truck, essentially functioning as a better version of his father, Lepant.
- Kahn Marley: A character often overlooked, Kahn joins with a permanently attached Resurrection Rune. While you can’t remove it, the rune itself is powerful against the undead enemies that populate much of the mid-to-late game. He is sturdy and hits hard, making him a reliable mainstay.
- Sierra: The Vampire Queen. She requires a bit of setup (recruiting her involves a quest), but she is a magic powerhouse. Her permanent Blue Moon Rune absorbs HP and deals massive damage, making her self-sustaining and deadly.

S-tier — Core game-changers
: Often cited as the mathematically strongest physical attacker when fully optimized with three rune slots and high strength.
These characters are essentially broken. They possess three open rune slots (often unlocked at high levels), allowing for the legendary "Steamroll" setup: Fury, Double-Beat, and Double-Strike runes. Here’s a review of the concept and common
5. Pesmerga
Role: Heavy Armor Knight Why S-Tier: Pesmerga joins late (near the end of the game), but his stats are astronomical. The highest Strength in the game, incredible Defense, and a permanent Darkness Rune. His swing hits twice by default. Give him a Fury Rune and a Double-Strike Rune, and he will kill final bosses in 3 turns. The only reason he isn’t #1 is his poor Speed and late join time.
