Update Ktag Clone From 225 To 270 !exclusive! -
The update of a KTAG clone from KSuite version 2.25 to 2.70 is primarily a software-based enhancement that unlocks new ECU protocols and improves overall device stability
- 2.25 hardware uses an old STM32F103 chip (72MHz).
- 2.70 hardware requires a STM32F407 (168MHz) or an RP2040 (Pi Pico) on newer clones. If you flash 2.70 firmware onto a 2.25 box, you will brick it. You need a new physical interface.
Step 3 — Patch Bootloader Vector Table
Clone hardware lacks the original bootloader’s UID check. In v2.70 binary: update ktag clone from 225 to 270
Step 2: Install Patched 2.70

Setup_KTAG_2.70.exeas Administrator. - Choose "Custom installation" – uncheck "Hardware Driver (Original)".
- Finish installation – do not launch yet.
- Ensure USB drivers compatible with the device are installed. Prepare an isolated test PC or virtual machine snapshot to reduce risk and allow rollback.
