Here’s a helpful post for anyone trying to get the USB Download Cable GEV189 working on Windows 10.
- Restart PC while holding Shift.
- Go to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart > Press 7 (Disable driver signature enforcement).
- Install the old driver while in this session.
- Run the downloaded installer as Administrator.
- Accept the EULA.
- Connect the GEV189 cable when prompted.
- Complete installation → Restart PC.
- Windows Update: Sometimes, Windows Update might have the driver you're looking for. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and click on "Check for updates".
