Compatibility: This version was designed for older Windows systems and vehicle models up to roughly late 2021. The latest official version of VCDS is available

1. Expanded Model Support: Native support for the 2021 MQB-EVO platforms (VW Golf Mk8, Audi A3 8Y, Cupra Formentor). It can now read the new "SFD" (Selective Fault Diagnosis) protected modules, though you will still need online access for SFD unlock.
2. Faster CAN bus scanning: Ross-Tech optimized the scan routine. A full auto-scan of a modern car (50+ modules) drops from 5 minutes to under 90 seconds.
3. Advanced Measuring Values (AMV): New graphing capabilities for live data. You can now record turbo boost pressure and fuel rail pressure simultaneously on a single graph.
4. Long Coding Helper II: An improved UI for modifying binary codes. It includes tooltips that explain what each bit does in plain English, reducing the risk of bricking a module.
5. UDS Protocol improvements: Better handling of Unified Diagnostic Services (used in all VAG cars after 2015).
