The file Webrec.cab is an ActiveX control used by older Dahua DVRs, NVRs, and IP cameras (as well as some rebranded OEMs) to allow users to view live video feeds and manage settings through a web browser.

Since webrec.cab is an ActiveX control, it only works in Internet Explorer (IE) or Microsoft Edge's "IE Mode". Modern browsers like Chrome or Firefox will not run it without extensions like IE Tab. The file Webrec
