5. Limitations
- Intersections: May cause mesh self-penetrations if source is thicker than target cavities.
- Overlaps: Requires careful ray direction settings to avoid back-projection.
- No dynamic collision: Wraps based on initial ray cast only.
- Outdated versions: Some WrapIt builds are no longer maintained for Max 2023+.
- Relax (Relax Topology): Crucial for retopology. It evens out the spacing between vertices. Wrapit’s Relax is better than the standard Max Relax because it tries to maintain the volume and surface adherence.
