It started, as these things always do, with a flicker.

1. Navigate to your save folder:

   Check the box that says "Run this program as an administrator." Click Apply and restart the game. Method 3: Restore via USB (PS3/Xbox 360)

   If no backup exists, this won’t help — but you can prevent future loss by manually copying the save folder weekly.
